QC ANALYST/REGISTERED CHEMIST
» Evaluate, certify and verify analytical (including microbiological) / evaluation of data/COA for both incoming materials and outgoing products. Responsibility specifically includes avoidance of further reprocessing and/or delivery of non-conforming products when a problem is identified. Authority to stop and prevent further processing / delivery on non-conforming products or processes.
» Ensure the conduct of all analysis for incoming, in-process and outgoing products in a timely manner. Ensure the identification, tracecapability and QC status disposition of all inventory items. This includes raw/packaging materials, in process and finished products, items due to revaluation and non-moving products.
» Ensures that all outgoing materials comply with the necessary requirements or standards of the customer.
» Qualify alternative suppliers in coordination with the direct Manager and the respective Purchasers and maintain an updated List of Approved Suppliers. Measure supplier’s quality performance and coordinates with Purchasing for supplier’s quality improvements. Conducts audit of new and existing suppliers.
» Ensures availcapability and an updated authorized test methods/ procedures and results of QA routine evaluations. Responsible for the storage and maintenance of significant QA/QC records.
» Transact QA significant transactions in significant network system, as maybe applicable, and generate reports as necessary. Maintain records. Upgrade SAP, as maybe applicable, periodically or as maybe necessary.
» Develops and adopt a program ( ex. statistical process control, laboratory management system, calibration, verification) applicable to all equipment used in the laboratory. Ensure compliance to good laboratory practices to ensure safety culture inside the laboratory.
» Handles and completes all customer queries such as questionnaires, checklist, complaint reports, and other customer documentation.
» Handles program for the non- routine testing such as swabbing of personnel, equipment, air plate exposure, cleaning and allergen validation testing and analyze data. Corrective actions are implemented should there be non-conformance noted.
» Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
» Graduate from a reputable school preferably Chemist
» Must be a licensed Chemist
» 2 to 5 years’ work practice (sensory, physical, chemical and microbiological testing) in a food safety manufacturing industry
» expertiseable in ISO 17025 or Laboratory Management System/Good Laboratory Practices
» expertiseable on Food Safety and Quality programs such as GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000
