Strictly implement DNP SHE and Quality standards in serving local customers.
A competent and experienced Licensed Chemist to perform and manage DSM Philippines Quality Assurance and Quality Control by maintaining compliance to DSM Directives, International Standards, and Local laws.
To sustain business growth of ANH Philippines and lead the industry in setting QA/QC standards through the following supports:
Efficient operation in QA/QC
Effective implementation of DSM Quality standards
Internal and external issues
Ensure that all staff comply with DNP standards for SHE and quality.
Complete timely routine analytical works in the QC laboratory for intermediate and finished products according to established test methods.
Conduct analytical monitoring (contaminants, stability and others) of finished products based on established local and customer requirement.
Review batch records and in-process quality control activities, from raw materials (including 3rd Party) acceptance to final products release to customers. Coordinate sampling and testing activities with in-house and external labs.
Track and monitor non conforming products from product recalls, product returns, rejection from production and rejection from QA/QC Inspection, etc… Ensure proper disposition and actions are applied in timely manners.
Ensure compliance of the internal laboratory with local regulations and laboratory SOP.
Conduct required validation and verification activities (eg equipment installation, homogeneity, carry over, cleaning matrix etc) according to protocol and management directives.
Comply with established SOPs as written in accordance with Quality Management Systems, Food/Feed Safety Management Systems, Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practice and SHE requirements.
Calibrate and maintain instruments and test equipment according to operating manuals and established SOPs to ensure reliability and repeatability of analytical test results.
Complete product stability testing programs according to protocol and management directives.
Track and monitor closely quality goals and objectives related to deviations, internal/external audits, management of change and other improvement activities.
Closing the PDCA loop (initiate investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions and follow-up) into all deviations related to raw materials, intermediate and finished products. Maintain appropriate records in the system.
Conduct periodic internal and external audits, including suppliers and customers.
Ensure preparedness and readiness for Corporate Operational Audit. Incorporate ANH-Global and ANH-APAC quality requirements into local procedures/policies and implement.
Ensure preparedness and readiness for accreditation and certification of management systems related to Quality and Food/Feed Safety and their pre-requisite programs. Incorporate.
Register and manage timely closure of customer complaints in the CCR system.
Monthly quality review pertaining to deviation and audits, customer complaint, product recall and return, MOC, validation process, internal and external monitoring. Others
Check Specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) for new and revised formulations as part of the 4-eye principle, and revise formulations in the absence of the QA Supervisor.
In the absence of QA Supervisor, revise customer formulation as requested ensuring specification not changed or revise specification with approval from the customer.
QA/QC Analyst assumes any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by QA Supervisor as and when necessary.
Projects / special assignments
Maximize AAS and HPLC/UPLC operation
Effective trainings on GMP, MDs, ISO9001, HACCP, other to all level in the organization
Integrated Quality Management
GMP and HCCP certification
Start/stop work if unsafe
Schedule and conduct tests and inspections timely
Schedule and conducts meetings/trainings regarding QMS, GMP, HACCP and others
Conduct and sign off re-tests or lab investigation works on deviations of raw materials, intermediate and finished products.
Review production documentations
Operate, maintain and calibrate instruments eg HPLC, GC, AAS, Spectrophometer, NIR etc
Broad knowledge in Quality Management System, Feed Safety Management System or equivalent
Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001 or equivalent, Food Safety
At least 3 years experience in Chemical Laboratory is preferred. Handled HPLC/UPLC, AAS, Spectrophotometer, NIR and other instrumentation is preferred.
At least 3 years experience in Operational and Quality Assurance is preferred.
Experience in problem solving and decision making on quality and technical issues is preferred
